Supporting our Community


Throughout 2020, we were delighted to be able to support many local charities.  We did this by giving a donation to charities when we placed candidates into permanent roles.  Our clients' chose a charity of their choice, and we donated on their behalf.  

Last year proved to be very trying for a lot of our charities and we are proud that we could lend a helping hand.

Supporting Presbyterian Support Otago

We were delighted to give a donation to Presbyterian Support Otago on behalf of Chasmont Finance.

Presbyterian Support Otago is a pillar of our community.

ChatBus - Virtual Street Appeal

ChatBus provides free counselling services to primary aged school children.  You may have seen one of the ChatBuses driving around Dunedin schools.  For the first half of 2020 ChatBus counsellors provided free counselling to more than 800 children. 

ChatBus is a not for provide organisation that operates solely from donations and grants.  On Friday 4 September, ChatBus will be holding their annual street appeal.

Supporting Life Matters Suicide Prevention Trust

As part of our pledge to support local charities who are really struggling in these trying times, Steve, Daniel's manager, chose for the donation of $150 to go to the Life Matters Suicide Trust.

How we help our community

We are passionate about supporting our community as much as possible. Here are some of the things that we have been involved with:
  • ChatBus Trust - Robyn has been a Board Trustee since 2018
  • Hospital Emergency Transport -  Warwick provides transport for hospital staff so that they can get to work and back home again when we have adverse weather (snow and ice).  Warwick has provided this service since 2004.
  • Otago Polytechnic - Robyn is part of the Polytechnic's Permanent External Advisory Committee
  • Meals on Wheels - Delivering meals on wheels for those in need for Rotary when snow and ice prevents normal delivery of meals
  • Super Grans - Providing HR and recruitment services
  • Anglican Family Care - We make regular donations to the food bank
  • Otago Gymnastics Association - Sponsorship
  • Otago Community Hospice - Ongoing support provided
  • Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal - Providing gifts to those in need
