Our client is a locally owned business which is part of New Zealand’s largest flooring retailer group, specialising in both residential and commercial flooring solutions.

Develop your sales career with this leading New Zealand flooring company, offering extensive sales and product training.


We have an opportunity for a results-driven and motivated sales professional. Alternatively, you may be looking for a change of direction and a new career opportunity in sales appeals. The right candidate will bring a positive sales attitude and a willingness to learn the ropes of this industry, with a view to a long term career. This role involves retail show-room sales and there may be an opportunity to learn other aspects of the business in due course such as onsite measure-ups.


You will receive excellent off-site and in-store training in sales and product knowledge of the extensive flooring range from one of the best in the industry!


This role is all about the team result and commission does not apply.


The role of Flooring Sales Consultant is a key position in our client’s business. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a talent for sales and customer service. If you would enjoy building relationships with retail and account customers, this could be the role for you!


Skills, experience and attributes -

  • Ability to drive and achieve sales, exceeding set team budgets
  • Develops new business opportunities and builds relationships
  • Confident when showcasing product ranges to residential and commercial customers
  • The right candidate ideally has face-to-face sales and customer service experience
  • Flooring Industry experience will be viewed favourably
  • Works cooperatively within a small cohesive team
  • Must be physically fit and able to lift


Hours -

Monday – Friday, 8:30am–5.00pm and some Saturday mornings as required.
