Your People Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a highly motivated and driven Part time Administration Assistant for a well-known and established Dunedin based trades firm.

Our client has had some great success over the years and are looking to find a great administrator to help support the business go through sustained growth.

You will be responsible for the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control and Health and Safety administration for the business.

Your typical day will be a mix of loading accounts payable/receivable into Xero, completing daily reconciliations of accounts, completing a small pay role (weekly), assisting the Manager with preparation of quotes and looking after the Health and Safety processes and functions of the business.

This role will suit you if you are a naturally meticulous person who can prioritise workload. This is a sole charge role with no other administrators working alongside you so you will be comfortable and driven to succeed in this type of environment.

As a natural in developing and maintaining relationships you will hold a friendly, accommodating and forward-thinking approach along with a proven skill set in all thing’s admin.

No two days are the same here so you will need to be adaptable in a busy, time critical and fast paced environment. One moment you can be at assisting the manager with the preparation of a quote and the next booking in a health and safety meeting.

You will truly believe in taking responsibility for your own performance and will exhibit initiative, flexibility and well-rounded approach to business.

This role is Monday-Friday 9am - 2.30pm.

The role attracts an hourly rate of $23 per hour

This role is for you if you:

  • Have previous AP and AR experience
  • Have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a good eye for detail
  • Have proven experience with Xero software
  • Great administration skills
