A modern and vibrant restaurant with a unique point-of-difference has a vacancy for a driven and energetic Chef to join their team. This position is responsible for ensuring that the highest quality Bistro food is prepared for this family-friendly restaurant.

About the role:

  • Work across all stations
  • Produce a range of dishes and cuisines, from a-la-carte creations to large scale events with  set menus
  • Work closely with the management and other kitchen staff to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen
  • Ensure the efficient production and quality control of all food going out to functions and events
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Be responsible for Food Safety and Workplace Health and Safety
  • Monday to Sunday, daytime and/or evening hour shifts


  • Demonstrate your culinary talents, passion and flair

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience / qualifications for working as a Bistro Chef
  • Passionate about producing quality dishes consistently
  • Proven planning and organisational skills in the kitchen
  • Good team player with great customer service skills
  • Driven to achieve the highest standards
  • Ability to work under pressure
