Our client is looking for a highly experience Inventory Controller to commence in a full time permanent role as soon as possible.

THE ROLE:

Our client is looking for an experienced Inventory Controller to ensure high quality inventory management. This role involves maintaining a stock ordering system and co-ordinating stock takes. You will also provide support to the branch team as appropriate, therefore you will need to an effective team member who contributes to the success of the business.

The focus of this role will be inventory management including purchasing, reporting, investigating variances & liaising with stakeholders.

For this role, the successful candidate will need to have excellent attention to detail, be methodical and highly organised and have great time management skills.

Customer service is an important aspect of this role as you will be interacting with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities & duties include:

  • inventory management -
    purchasing, receipting and reporting/investigating variances
  • Stock control including coordinating stock takes
  • Generally supporting the team and business
  • Communication with stakeholders

HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full time permanent Monday to Friday role, with rostered Saturdays.
Specific working hours are negotiable.
