Our client operates a gourmet butchery in the greater Dunedin area, and is looking for a talented, qualified butcher with smallgoods experience to join their busy team.

The preferred candidate will come from a butchery background and hold management or supervisory experience. Perhaps you currently work in a suburban butchers’ shop, or perhaps your career has been in a specialty butcher’s shop, supermarket or export plant where you have gained your expertise with a wide range of smallgoods.  If this sounds like you, we would love to talk.

We would also be happy to talk to qualified butchers who are looking to take their next step into a supervisory or management role


Our ideal person will:


  • Be a qualified butcher
  • Have good experience with smallgoods
  • Possess sound knowledge and practices with hygiene and food handling
  • Have 3 – 5 years relevant experience
  • Be a great team player
