MARKETING AND ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

Your People Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a highly motivated and driven Marketing and Administration assistant for a well-known and established Dunedin based Building firm.

Our client has had some great success over the years and are looking to add a Marketing and Administration assistant to help support the business go through sustained growth.

You will be responsible for the marketing, administrative and support functions of the business. You will typically be creating and managing social media posts including Facebook and YouTube videos as well as being the principal administrator with tasks including entering of invoices,ordering supplies and responding to email and phone queries.

You will be supporting two managers in their drive to gaining new business and completing building work on time and on budget. You will be a naturally meticulous person who can prioritise workload and have great reporting skills.

As a natural in developing and maintaining relationships, you will hold a friendly, accommodating and forward-thinking approach along with a proven skill set in marketing and administration including website updating, and social media posting.

Working in a small team in the building trade, no two days are the same here, so, you will need to be adaptable in a busy, time critical and fast paced environment. One moment you can be at a property making videos of building work to be completed and the next be booking in an appointment or organising health and safety training.

You will truly believe in taking responsibility for your own performance and will exhibit initiative, flexibility and a well-rounded approach to business.

This role is working across Monday-Friday 8.00 am - 4.30pm

The role attracts a salary of $47,000 - $52,000 per year

This role is for you if you have:

  • Previous office support or administration experience
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good eye for detail
  • Proven social media and marketing skills
  • Great administration skills
