Your People Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a highly motivated and driven Office and Administration Manager for a well-known and established Dunedin based Building firm.

You will be responsible for the smooth running of background operations, and hold excellent planning, prioritising and problem-solving skills. Experience with Xero and Workflow Max software will be advantageous but not essential.

You will be supporting 2 Project managers in their drive to gaining new business and completing building work on time and on budget. You will be a naturally meticulous person who can prioritise workload and have great reporting skills.

As a natural in developing and maintaining relationships you will hold a friendly, accommodating and forward-thinking approach along with a proven and road skill set in administrative functions gained from previous experience as a senior administrator/office manager or similar.

This is a sole charge position working in a small team so you will need to be adaptable in a busy, time critical and fast paced environment. One moment you can be creating social media posts and the next be booking in an appointment, completing debtor/creditor payments or organising health and safety training.

You will truly believe in taking responsibility for your own performance and will exhibit initiative, flexibility and well-rounded approach to business.

This role is working across Monday-Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm

The role attracts a salary of $48,000-$51,000 per year

This role is for you if you:

• Are able to organise office operations and procedures
• Have experience around reconciliation of payroll, debtors and creditors
• Can develop relationships with external and internal stakeholders
• Can develop and maintain office policies including Health & Safety
• Can complete pre and post job administration
• Are experienced in social media and marketing activities
• Can maintain a vibrant, friendly and team environment 
• Hold general office administration experience
