OFFICE MANAGER - PART TIME #1985

We are searching for a self-starter with both strong administration and communication skills, who will be able to lead the Dunedin operation into the future for a Not-for-profit charitable trust.

Our Client is a not-for-profit organisation that assists a wide range of people in the community. The organisation is a charitable trust with branches across New Zealand – but each branch is autonomous. The organisation depends on volunteers who donate their time, expertise and energy to work with people one on one to improve people’s lives.

The current incumbent is retiring, so we are searching for a self-starter with both strong administration and communication skills, who will be able to lead the Dunedin operation into the future.

Proven experience and skills required include:

  • Applications for funding
  • Preparing agendas, reports, minutes etc for Board meetings
  • Preparing strategic and business plans
  • Reviewing policies and procedures
  • Office systems – using MYOB or similar
  • Working closely with the part time coordinator
  • Seeking sponsorship / public speaking to various groups

The role is part-time (20 hours per week) but offers some flexibility in hours.
