Your People Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a talented and adaptable Part time Administration Assistant for a well-known and established Dunedin business located in South Dunedin.

Our client has had some great success over the years and are looking to add a Part time Administration Assistant to help support the business.

You will be responsible for the data inputting of invoices, filling and collating of statements, end of month reconciliations, helping out in the showroom, answering the phones and some inventory control work alongside other admin duties.

You will be supporting the Administrative Director in the background running of the business. You will be a naturally meticulous person who can prioritise workload and have great reporting skills.

Experience in MYOB, a strong level of data entry and accuracy is important as well as good exposure and use of Microsoft Excel and Word packages.

As a natural in developing and maintaining relationships you will hold a friendly, accommodating and forward-thinking approach along with a proven skill set in all things admin.

Working in a small team no two days are the same here so you will need to be adaptable in a busy, time critical and fast paced environment. One moment you can be entering invoices the next greeting someone that has come into the showroom.

You will truly believe in taking responsibility for your own performance and will exhibit initiative, flexibility and a well-rounded approach to business.

This role is part time working 3 week days (to be negotiated) with approx. 6 hour working days. This may suit someone looking for school friendly hours.

The role attracts a wage of $23-$25 per hour depending on experience

This role is for you if you have:

  • Previous office support or administration experience
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good eye for detail
  • Proven MYOB/Accounting software experience
  • Great admin skills
