We are searching for a top class ENGINEER to join a progressive Oamaru based workshop for fabrication / welding (MIG) / fitting / assembly work Great opportunity awaits!

We are searching for an experienced ENGINEER  - a good 'all-rounder" to join our client's progressive engineering workshop in early 2018.

Initially this role will be temporary to meet the demands of increasing workloads - but it is highly likely that this role will become permanent.

The successful candidate will have experience in an engineering related field  - someone who will be able to add real value to the workshop team. People who will be successful in this role may have a background from Automotive, Aviation, Fabrication, General Engineering, Fitting, Welding, or similar.

Key attributes that we are looking for may include:

  • MIG welding experience
  • Accurate, neat and tidy welder
  • Fabrication experience
  • Fitting and assembly skills
  • Punctual, reliable, and honest
  • Good teamwork ethos and a good work ethic is essential

Trade Certificate and welding certificates (NZ4711, ASME9 or similar) are not a pre-requisite for this role, but is preferred.
