In 2008, Your People Recruitment was established.  We're based in Dunedin and provide leading recruitment services throughout New Zealand.

We recruit the best talent available for all levels of employment with our specialty being mid and senior level positions.  We provide both permanent and temporary employment services in a wide range of industries and job types.

Managing Director

Warwick established Your People Recruitment in 2008 because he knew that for organisations to be successful, they needed to have the very best talent on-board.

Prior to Your People Recruitment, Warwick held various senior leadership roles within both public and private sectors in IT, health, processing centres, contact centres and rural servicing.  In his previous roles, Warwick recruited and managed many hundreds of people.  He has a natural affinity for selecting and recruiting the very best people and his desire was to help other organisations to be successful by ensuring that they employ only the best people.

Warwick has used his skills to successfully recruit numerous high performing people into many senior professional and management, technical and specialist roles, in a wide range of sectors throughout New Zealand on behalf of many organisations.  Recent placements include health management, production management, legal, HR, sales, marketing, and senior administrative roles.

Warwick’s memberships include Member of Recruitment & Consulting Services Association, Member of Directors Institute and a former Associate of NZ Institute of Management.  Warwick served on the Board of Directors for the Otago/Southland Employers Association for six years.

Robyn Leyden
Robyn Leyden
Recruitment & HR Specialist

Joining the Your People Recruitment team in 2011, Robyn brought with her a wealth of experience from her management, leadership and HR work in senior roles.  She has previously worked in a wide range of industry sectors which include finance, rural servicing, customer service, processing and logistics. 

Robyn combines her industry knowledge and HR experience to assist clients with finding quality candidates.  Throughout her time with Your People Recruitment, Robyn has successfully placed many hundreds of candidates into roles each year.

Robyn is a Member of RCSA and is a former Trustee on the Board of ChatBus Trust.  Robyn has a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management and is accredited in Psychometric Administration and Interpretation, and also has a Certificate in Mata a Ao Maori Level 4.

In her spare time, Robyn enjoys fashion, the sun and spending time with her family.

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Leanne joined our team as a Recruitment Consultant in October 2017.  Leanne specialises in providing permanent, fixed term and temporary staff - from professional, qualified and management roles through to junior roles in a wide range of industry sectors.  

With a background in healthcare administration, territory sales management and recruitment, Leanne has significant experience to draw on.

Leanne really enjoys looking after her valued clients, ensuring excellent communication throughout the recruitment process, and she also provides post-placement support.  Her understanding of candidate and employer requirements is what makes Leanne the right Recruitment Consultant to make the perfect match for you!

Leanne has studied throughout her career and has completed qualifications in Business Administration and Line Management.

Mel Bentley

Recruitment Consultant

Mel has been a Recruitment Consultant for the past two years. She started out in recruitment as our Executive Assistant and it didn’t take her long to decide that Recruitment Consultant was the job for her.

Mel is a real ‘people person’ and has great organising skills – both key skills in recruitment. She gets a real buzz out of working with candidates and clients and placing great people into great jobs.

Prior to recruitment, Mel worked in customer service, administrative, procurement, sales and sales support experience within the IT, document solutions, automotive and hospitality industries.

Mel was born and bred in Dunedin and has completed tertiary studies in Business Administration and NZIM Management papers.

Outside of work, Mel enjoys spending time with family, going to the beach, home DIY and reading.

Nakota Hawke

Executive Assistant

Nakota joined the Your People Recruitment team in early 2022 as our Executive Assistant.

Nakota is from Dunedin and studied at Otago University, completing a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Management and Marketing. Since graduating, Nakota has worked in various customer facing roles within logistics, insurance and medical sectors.

With a marketing background, Nakota produces all of our marketing content and runs our social media platforms, which has reach to thousands of potential candidates.

Nakota plays a key role in the temp space. Nakota helps throughout the hiring process including greeting candidates, organising computer testing, reference checks and preparing our employment documents for new temp staff. She is in regular contact with our temps and continues to guide them through any navigation they have in their role.
