Our client is a forward-thinking provider of high-quality internet and mobile solutions, designed to empower SMEs and rural communities throughout Otago. We’re excited to partner with them in their search for a motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth and innovation across the region.

What You’ll Do:

• Identify and secure new business opportunities, helping local SMEs and rural customers stay connected and competitive.
• Promote and sell cutting-edge internet and mobile solutions that make a real impact on businesses. Build meaningful relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs to offer tailored connectivity solutions.
• Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the growth of the region.
• Travel extensively throughout Otago, staying in tune with the needs of the community (some overnight travel required).

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably with experience in telecommunications or technology.
• Passion for helping businesses succeed by providing them with reliable, high-tech connectivity solutions.
• The ability to translate technical jargon into simple, clear language for customers
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on building strong, long-lasting relationships.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the South Otago to North Otago region.
• A full clean driver’s license.
