Our client, Gilmour Motors Suzuki – Dunedin, is looking for a Sales Consultant who loves working with people and wants to be part of a down-to-earth, community-focused dealership.
This isn’t the stereotypical “hard sell” environment. Gilmour Motors prides itself on providing a relaxed, welcoming experience where customers feel supported — never pressured.

The role:

In this role, you’ll play an important part in creating great customer experiences by:

  • Helping customers choose the right vehicle for their needs and lifestyle
  • Ensuring used vehicles are presented at their best — organising grooming, servicing, and reconditioning
  • Managing the small details that make a big difference, from tidy paperwork to timely follow-ups
  • Building genuine relationships that keep customers coming back

Who we’re looking for:

  • You genuinely enjoy people — you’re a natural listener and an easy communicator
  • You’re organised, reliable, and committed to getting the details right
  • You have sound administration and computer skills
  • You’re comfortable juggling a variety of tasks and take pride in doing things well
  • You have sales experience (advantageous but not essential)
  • Vehicle sales experience is preferred, it’s not essential as product training will be provided
  • Experience in hospitality, retail, or administration could transition really well
  • You hold a clean full driver’s licence and can confidently drive manual vehicles
