About the Role

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Senior Travel Consultant, ready to take their career in a dynamic new direction in Retail Travel Management. If you’re customer-focused, highly motivated, and passionate about turning travel dreams into reality, this could be the role for you. Work for a Dunedin-owned and operated company. This is a Monday-Friday role, with rostered (4-hour) Saturday shifts.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Travel Consultancy: Provide expert advice, build strong client relationships, and craft exciting itineraries, inspiring trust, loyalty, and repeat business.
  • Customer Service: Be a knowledgeable, reassuring voice, guiding clients seamlessly through every step of their travel experience.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Support and develop junior staff, sharing your expertise and helping them grow. There’s also a potential opportunity to step up into a management role.
  • Team Contribution: Drive results independently while collaborating with a motivated and supportive team.

Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • Rostered Saturdays: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

 

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the travel industry
  • Extensive travel experience
  • A proactive, positive attitude and ability to thrive in a team environment
