We’re searching for a capable Payroll Administrator for a part time role (approx. 3 days / week) in a high performing Finance team based in Clyde.

  • Sole charge role
  • Part time hours with excellent pay rate
  • Great team based in Clyde

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join the supportive Finance team in a part time role 2 ½ - 3 days per week.

Overview of the role

  • Sole charge (part time) role
  • End to end payroll function
  • Fortnightly pay runs
  • Approx 200 payees
  • Large payroll system

 

Key tasks / responsibilities

  • Process new employees and terminations
  • Calculate employee allowances and deductions
  • Identify and remedy discrepancies or errors
  • Process pay runs
  • Complete reconciliations

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Excellent knowledge of Holidays Act
  • 2 – 3 years’ New Zealand experience in payroll administration role
  • Large payroll systems experience preferred (eg Payglobal / Exo or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Desire to work in a great team focused environment
