Our client is a leading provider in automotive glazing solutions, and they are seeking a Trade Assistant to join their team with opportunities for apprenticeship and career growth.
This role will commence as a temporary position but highly likely to become permanent, with the opportunity for a trade apprenticeship
Assist in automotive glass installation, repair, and maintenance with the potential for career advancement. This is a full time role.
Responsibilities:
- Support glaziers and technicians.
- Prepare work areas and vehicles.
- Handle and transport glass safely.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Adhere to safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a trade environment preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively - both independently and as part of the team
- Strong attention to detail
- Clean driver's licence
- Have own basic hand tools
- Some heavy lifting may be required
